Growing Yourself

Cicero, the Roman statesman and Philosopher, 106BC-43BC, pointed out 6 mistakes of man. This also in today's times spells woman too! We should never stop growing or examining our self. This is a life long task and must be done in order to be fully human and alive.
The mistakes are...The delusion that personal gain is made by crushing others. The tendency to worry about things that can not be changed. Insisting a thing is impossible because we can not accomplish it. Refusing to set aside trivial preferences. Neglecting the development and refinement of the mind. And finally, attempting to compel others as we do or think.

"Cultivation to the mind is as necessary as food to the body." Cicero

"Confidence is that feeling by which the mind embarks in great and honorable courses with sure hope and trust in itself." Cicero
